"Feeling Fruity" Challenge

I made this card using my new Greeting Farm stamp. I love the image but I need to get a paler skin tone for using with it. I want to enter this into the One Stop Craft Challenge. The brief is "Feeling Fruity". Thanks for looking!

Wedding Card

Quick post for this wedding card I made today. Not sure if I'm 100% happy with it but I spent enough time on it as it is, so I'm moving on!!

Tag

I made this tag last night using my new Tim Holtz stamps, MS border punch and a handmade flower that Lou showed me how to make. I really like the look of it but I don't really know what to do with it now! Do you display your tags or use them on cards, LO's etc??

Some Cards

Here are some cards I made yesterday. I am definitely a HUGE Utee fan now! I love the stuff. On the first two cards I tried the emboss resist technique with Tim Holtz distress inks. I made the third card after seeing the idea in Scrapbooking Trends Cards magazine. I got my 7 sets of Tim Holtz stamps today and I can't wait to start playing with them! Thanks for looking!

Vintage Style Layout

This is another layout for my mum's album. The pictures are of my granny and grandad. The papers are basic grey & the flowers are prima. I used UTEE for the stamping on the top and the bird. The frames are Sizzix & Spellbinders.

More layouts

I have been M.I.A. this week & have got nothing done. I did these two quick layouts last night for my mum's album. They're pretty plain but I don't think she would want them too fussy. I hope! I really have a lot of cards to make over the weekend so I will be in overdrive.

Just a quick post. I was at Louise's yesterday & she showed me how to make tags. I decided to use the tag as part of my mum's Mother's Day card because she's really into the whole vintage style. I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt. Hope she likes it!

I just couldn't resist....

How cute are these stamps??!!!! Once I saw them I had to have the lot! They are the Cheeky Cherry Collection from The Greeting Farm. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

Cutie Pie

This is the second LO for my mother's album. The picture is of my little brother (who turned 21 this year). I love this picture as it reminds me of how I used to treat him like my little doll! I was 5 when he was born.

Layouts

These are a few LO's I did last night. I have been looking at this Halloween picture for ages now so glad I finally got something done with it. I am only learning when it comes to scrapbooking but I am really enjoying it so far.

This LO is of my dad and brother from about ten years ago. I decided to make a album for my mother for her birthday so this is the first LO for that. I really have to make at least one page every night or I will get nowhere fast!

50th Anniversary Card

This is a couple of weeks old but I've only got the pictures off the camera today. A lady asked me to make a card for her parents 50th wedding anniversary. Once I'd finished it I realised that it wouldn't fit in a normal envelope as the Prima flowers were too bulky. So I made up a little box for it. I also put their names in white Glitterations letters at the top of the box but I forgot to take a picture. I was super nervous about this card because it was for such an important occasion but thankfully it was well received. I would like to enter this into the Pollycraft Challenge (Distressing) and the Quixotic Challenge (Leaves).

Mother's Day Card

I don't seem to be able to get a great picture of this one but here it is anyway. This one is entered in the MSE Mother's Day challenge. Thanks for looking & sorry for the delay in entering JailhouseBabe!!

"Just Because" PaperPlay Challenge

I just finished this card to enter into this week's PaperPlay challenge. The brief is "Just Because", which I love. I think there is no better reason for giving someone a card! The stamps are from another one of my new Bombshell Stamps sets. It is coloured with a mix of Copics and Papermania markers. I only have 3 Copics; a problem I quickly rectified today by buying 20 more. If my husband finds out I just dropped €50 on big girl markers, he will think I've lost it! This is my first ever challenge so I hope I am doing this right. Thanks for looking.

Baby Girl Card.

My Mum wanted me to do a simple baby girl card for a colleague so just used my M.S punch and Nesties, with a few Prima flowers, Basic Grey pearls & Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

Retirement Card.

This card was made for my Aunt for her retirement. I used a Hero Arts stamp for the main greeting and Martha Stewart punches. I'm afraid that I may possibly be addicted to these punches as well. They're such great quality; I highly recommend them. But, don't say I didn't warn you. One M.S punch is never enough!

First post!!

I finally got my first delivery from Bombshell Stamps and I am in love!! Their stamps are so fantastic and give such a clear, crisp image. I decided to use the Girl's Ruin set to make a birthday card for my friend Lou. My favourite thing next to fancy paper is fancy shoes so when I saw these I had to have them! Please excuse the crappy picture & colouring; I am saving up for Copics! I also used the Classic Tattoo Font to spell the name. I can't wait to start playing with the rest of these. They have so much attitude!
