More cards

Got a few more cards finished today. The inspiration for the first one is from Dawn McVey's blog. I just love the Hero Arts Peacock stamp, so pretty and it has a lovely vintage look. I used an EK Success scallop punch at the bottom. The second card uses my Tim Holtz stamps and Distress ink in Pumice Stone. Thanks for looking!

Kraft cards

I finally managed to get some Kraft card from Papertrey Ink and I love it. It's such fantastic quality. I got a few cards made last night, on which I also used my new stamps sets (Polka Dot Basics and Everyday Button Bits. I can see myself getting quite a few more things from Papertrey Ink!

I would like to enter the pink card into the following challenges "A Pocket Full of Posies", Magical Crafts Fortnightly challenge and the Pollycraft challenge.

A few more layouts from tonight

I got a few more layouts finished tonight. I thought I would post them now, even though the pictures aren't great. I seem to be very productive today!!

Class Layouts

I had such a great time at Louise's class today. Thanks for a fun afternoon!! Usually when I go to a class or crop, I get nothing done (too busy talking & faffing around with cardstock). But today I got 4 layouts done and a little post-it holder. I don't know what came over me! I feel so productive!

Layouts

Sorry for the wonky pictures! Here are two more L.O's I finished today. The first is Ethan on his bike and the second is of me and my oldest friend Sharon. It was taken on a night out for my birthday. Good times!!

A Few More Makes

Here are a few cards that I have done today and last week. The first one uses a Mami Doodles digi image called The Love Tree. After seeing a card on her blog using a monochrome theme, I decided to colour it the same way. I would like to enter this one in the Stamptacular Sunday Wedding/Anniversary Challenge. The second card is a Get Well Soon card for a co-worker of my mother's. She said she didn't want to be too sympathetic, as he is a bit of a smart arse (in a nice way, of course!!) So I decided to do a simple card based on something I saw on Etsy. It made me laugh :). Third card is very simple; I just used my small square punch & my Martha Stewart monarch butterfly punch. Thanks for looking!

Thanks to Susan for suggesting the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I want to enter this card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge. It has a lovely simple sketch, perfect to ease myself back into cardmaking! It's the first time I've ever been first entering a challenge!

I've finally made something!!

Lord, I have done nothing in ages. I lost all desire to craft for a while. However that changed when my ATG gun arrived in the post this morning. WOW!! It is amazing. I got this one from 3M Select and it was only £11.59 on sale with free delivery. I got it with half inch and 3/4 inch tape. I am officially a convert and would recommend anyone to get one. Rave over!! But seriously, I wanted to do a simple layout to test it out and this one took about 5 minutes to knock together. It makes matting and layering a breeze. I was having a lot of problems with paper peeling off cards; the DS tape I was using just wasn't cutting it, but that is a thing of the past!! I will try and get a few more things up tonight as I expect I will be crafting for the day!!
